Just Ryde

This class is taught by:

Susie F Fagan

Susie likes to sweat before breakfast. As a mom with two part-time jobs, she knows early mornings are the best time to get in a good workout. Running is her true love, but an injury several years ago forced her to take a break - and she discovered the benefits of cross-training. Cycling, strength training and swimming now are regular parts of her active lifestyle. And every once in a while, she'll run a half marathon for kicks. Susie is a certified Real Ryder indoor cycling instructor and a certified RIP 60 instructor.

Kate M Marples

Kate is a KU Law School graduate. She works full time in Kansas City but enjoys being active—especially when it involves working out with others! Kate rowed for KU Crew while at KU medaling at four American Collegiate Rowing Association National Championships and now enjoys training for local triathlons. Kate got her indoor cycle instructor certification while attending KU and recently got her group fitness certification so that she could join in the fun at RydeBarre. In her free time Kate enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with Maggie the Wheaten Terrier.

Eliza H Hale

Eliza, co-owner, has always loved all things fitness. She began teaching fitness classes in high school and, after a detour in the corporate world, is thrilled to be back in the saddle helping others find a fun path to an active lifestyle. The strong sense of community drew Eliza and her husband back to Lawrence, where she has started a family and developed strong ties in the community. Eliza and Susie are focused on creating a fun, inviting fitness atmosphere that emulates the strong sense of community that exists in Lawrence.  Eliza is a certified USAT Level 1 Triathlon Coach, Precision Nutrition Level I Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, certified RealRyder indoor cycling instructor, certified RIP 60 instructor and a certified BootyBarre instructor.

A'Laina B Beckwith

No matter the day, clipping into the pedals brings a fresh light to the world: sweat on her face, the road under her wheels, the challenge of a climb and the elation of overcoming the impossible. A'Laina is competitive cyclist who's logged thousands of miles, with all ages, beginner to skilled, on the open road. To her, it is more than the bike. Her passion is to bring cycling to life and cause others to fall in love with the ride and go beyond oneself and experience the joy in the suffering. Come along with her as she brings the ride inside. A'Laina is a certified Real Ryder indoor cycling instructor.
Finally, you can train in a way that’s both functional and fun! Join our certified RealRyder cycling instructors as you turn, lean and balance during a 50-minute Ryde. As you move through an expanded range of dynamic, functional movements, you get a comprehensive body workout -- with special emphasis on activating essential core muscles. Monitors mounted on our bikes measure RPM and heart rate to track and maximize your workout. Sound like a great time? It is!  This is an all-level class.
