Marne F. Fleming

Marne has been a runner most of her life, competing in marathons, half marathons and trail races. When Marne took her first yoga class in 2009 she was hooked, and knew it was a great way to complement her running and avoid injury. She quickly realized Yoga was so much than cross training, it was a lifestyle. Marne has been AFAA group exercise certified since 2012, teaching Cycling and Pilates, and enjoyed connecting with others through teaching fitness classes. When she realized Yoga Teacher Training was an option, she knew it was the next step, completing 200 RYT in 2014.

 

Marne and her husband are new to Lawrence, from South Dakota. They enjoy the community and everything it has to offer. Marne works as a Middle School Counselor in the district. She hopes to share her love of yoga with others, and to never stop growing as both a yogi and a person.

Amy C. Cunningham

Amy began her Yoga journey 15 years ago. She fell in love instantly, though took many breaks through the years. Every time she returned to her Yoga practice it was like coming home. Amy recently deepened her yoga journey through the completion of the YA 200 HR Yoga Teacher certification. Yoga has brought a sense of calm to her life through the deep connection of body, mind and spirit. Yoga has transformed the way she feels physically, mentally and energetically. Amy teaches a Vinyasa flow style Yoga that allows students to build strength, flexibility and balance on and off the mat.

Jennifer N. Nelson

Jennifer, a Lawrence native, recently returned home after living in NYC for the last two decades, where she received her yoga certification under the guidance of New York's yoga pioneer, Cyndi Lee. Utilizing yoga to reduce stress and to deepen the breath, Jennifer is deeply passionate about helping her students listen to their bodies, calm their minds, and follow their hearts. When she is not making movies or writing her next script, you'll probably find Jennifer in a handstand or at least talking about the endless benefits yoga brings to the spirit.

Laura R Rossi

Laura is a lawyer by day and a yogi all the time. She enjoys fitness and outdoor activities of all kinds, in particular running, rock climbing, and camping. She began her yoga practice in 2010 to help counteract the stress of law school, and she hasn't looked back since. Laura loves that yoga provides her a quiet, meditative space away from the rest of her day, while also stretching and strengthening muscles that she didn't even know she had. Laura trained to teach yoga at OmTree Shala in Lawrence and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.
Dynamic Core Flow is an invigorating style of yoga linking breath and movement for a revitalizing practice. This fast-paced vinyasa flow class focuses on strength, flexibility, and mobility to build a strong body, improve balance and posture while cultivating a focused mind. Leave feeling strong, stretched, and blissed out!
